Special Activities
Throughout the year, scouts carry out special activities such as Campouts and Service Projects.
Below you find many of the special activities from our previous scout years. The planned activities for 2021-2022 are at the top.
2021
September 11: The Annual Planning Conference
September 14: The first troop meeting - plus all Tuesdays that are not during break after this one will also be troop meetings.
September 19 or 27: Leadership training
October 1-3: The "fun" campout. We will be heading to the Rotterdam Scouting Center! The fun campout is meant to ease people back into camping after summer break (and this year, after two years break) as well as boost troop morale.
November 2: The Halloween party! Potential activities include a costume contest, a jack-o-lantern contest, apple bobbing, and eating so much candy you're sick the next day.
November 12-14: The date of our second campout, location and details TBD.
November 25: The Thankgiving Service at Pieterskerk, Leiden. Here we will work together with the Girl Scouts of the United States while doing a flag ceremony.
April 8-10: The Normandy camping trip, organized by TAC. Prepare for way too much wind!
